It's getting cold! So help your furry friends adjust with these tips.
Dog tip
Winter is coming,
so here are two things that dog owners can do to prepare for the
cold---first of all, if you have been leaving a metal water dish
outside, you should replace it with plastic, because dog tongues (just like
human tongues) could stick to the steel if temperatures are freezing. Secondly
(shameless promoting to follow), a great way to prepare for winter is
to check out the great hoodies from http://mypetprojectsupplies.com/
Cat tip
Some cat owners allow their cats to spend most of their lives outside, but when winter comes your furry friend would much prefer being inside. Sure, he'll miss the freedom, but he will appreciate the warmth and comfort. If you insist on letting the little guy stay outside, provide him access to some element of shelter...even a small dog house will do. Make sure the shelter has some cozy bedding for him.
