so here are two things that dog owners can do to prepare for the
cold---first of all, if you have been leaving a metal water dish
outside, you should replace it with plastic, because dog tongues (just like
human tongues) could stick to the steel if temperatures are freezing. Secondly

Some cat owners allow their cats to spend most of their lives outside, but when winter comes your furry friend would much prefer being inside. If you insist on letting the little guy stay outside, provide him access to some element of shelter...even a small dog house will do. Make sure the shelter has some cozy bedding for him.
